Week One: Swearing In & Committee Work

Thank you for your support! I had a great first week. The Statehouse is a wonderful place to work. Very uplifting. Here Carrie and I pose in front of Lincoln on the first floor.

The freshman class is filled with interesting people and has a non-partisan vibe. Folks from both parties are ready to get to work on behalf of all Vermonters, as it should be.

I will be serving on the House Energy and Digital Infrastructure Committee which considers matters relating to energy, utilities, telecommunications, broadband, information technology, cybersecurity, and other similar policies. Please be in touch if you know about these issues.

I m signing on to co-sponsor two bills so far. The first is an effort to reduce and the eliminate taxation of social security benefits. The second is a bill to limit cell phone use in schools. Both of these are worthy bills.
